How To Withdraw Money From PayPal In Kenya - Easy!

So you’ve landed your first online job but you don’t know how to withdraw money from PayPal. Whether you are in Kenya, Israel, India, South Africa, Philippines, Tanzania, Uganda or even Somalia there is only one trusted method to withdraw your dollars (or pounds) from Paypal -  through the Payoneer Card.

I want to show you how this card works and how you can make an easy $25 (Ksh 2000) with it. Karibu.

Withdraw Money From PayPal Using Payoneer Mastercard

how to withdraw money from paypal in KenyaFounded in 2005, Payoneer is a New York-based virtual US bank that allows you to withdraw money from PayPal in Kenya or any other country.

All you need to do is to withdraw your funds from PayPal, wait for three business days and the cash is deposited to your virtual account.

How I Do It

I normally receive an email alert every Friday evening when my card is loaded (from PayPal to Payoneer that is). I then go to a Barclays bank ATM (I’ve used CFC Stanbic as well) where I withdraw the cash.

Sometimes I use it to shop in Mastercard branded stores (Like Nakumatt and WoolWorths) or pay my bills when I don’t have cash in my pocket.

How much do I need to pay for this card?

Well, guess what, the card is delivered to you absolutely FREE of charge. You only need to sign up with your Postal Address details (P.O BOX XXX). You’ll receive your card after one month of applying. Once you receive it you’ll have to activate it by entering a special code in your online account.

Again, there are no charges for keeping the card even if you don’t use it. Like I have a couple of friends who just keep it in their wallet just for some sense of pride – it feels cool having an international Payoneer card in your wallet LOL.

Do I need to be rich to use this card?

No. Anyone can use the Payoneer Mastercard here in Kenya or anywhere else on the globe even without being “rich”. In my opinion if you are making anything between $5 (Ksh400) and $500 (Ksh40000) per day this would be the ideal card to have around.

May be you would be interested to know about the charges…and here they are:

    PayPal to Payoneer
  • 1% to load from Paypal to Payoneer
  • 3% to convert to KSH (Tzsh, Rands, Ugsh or any other local currency etc)
  • $2.15 withdrawal charge
In short, if you withdraw $100 you’ll get receive something close to Ksh8000, Kenyan Money

Benefits of signing up

 1. You don’t need to pay a single cent to receive or maintain this card

Disadvantages

1. The only problem with Payoneer is that you have to wait for a whole month for it to arrive. If you have an urgent need of your money that is in your PayPal account I can always help withdraw it.

In that case, you’ll need to provide me with a copy of your ID card and phone contacts (I’ll also provide you with mine) for a seamless deal. Kindly use this link to access our forum for more ideas on how to withdraw money from PayPal in Kenya.
