3 Simple Small Business Ideas For Nairobi People

Nairobi is a city full of opportunities for the hard working entrepreneur. However, not all those who launch their businesses succeed. The market is quite competitive either in Eastlands (areas like Umjoa, Imara Daima, Buruburu) or Westlands (Kilimani, Kileleshwa or Loresho).

Having made such observations,  we were able to compile some three creative business ideas that can be done in this city with much ease. These include:

(1) Wine/Spirits
There is a lot of money to be made in this industry. All you need to do is to buy a stock of wines and spirits, hire a small room, get the right licenses and market vigorously. Target audience: Young students in colleges and Universities.
Budget: Ksh100,000 – Ksh500,000

(2)Social Media Consultancy
Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Linkedin have taken the world quite literary. If you are an expert at social media matters you can start a consultancy firm and offer your services to other small business owners.
Budget: Ksh50,000 – Ksh500,000

(3)Careers Expo Business
Are you a motivational speaker? Can you inspire someone to make wise decisions in life? Well, then you’re sitting on a gold-mine. Think about starting your career/motivational expo business. You can even package your message in CDs and sell. Or even you can start a motivational blog. You can also visit schools and colleges to offer paid advice.
Budget: Ksh50,000 – Ksh500,000

We hope that this guide has inspired you to think outside the box. If you were looking for good business ideas in Nairobi, I hope this referral article has quenched your thirst for information.
